Coyote Gulch 2012: Day 3

On the morning of Day 3, we relocated our base camp, then checked out condition of the cascade we hoped to photograph.

    Easy to get ass kicked by equipment out West. I had a big Bogen tripod that tried to get me….repeatedly. Never met such an aggressively hostile-to-being-carried piece of gear. Love the Raven voices early on the video.

    Looks like a great trip, nothing worse than getting from the ground with a 90 -100lb pack., last did it about 6 years ago and I’m sure my knees still feel it. Love the photo you got, I’d say it was worth it.

    I hope there is a little more video of that beautiful arch complex. I bet the bouncing light was wonderful in there. an’t wait to see day four.
