Most of my favorite shooting locations are a 6 to 10 hour drive from my home. At some point during the drive, I usually take a break to stretch my legs. During one trip to the Colorado Plateau, my stretch break was in Zion National Park. I decided to leave a quarter on a rock not too far from the road. Why? I’m not sure. Maybe just to see if it would still be there when I came back. 10 days later on my trip home, I tried to find the quarter. Still here! It sat there though the chilly nights, and warm days waiting for my return.
