I’m always looking for new camera angles when filming my daily video journals. On previous trips, I’ve dabbled with filming time lapse video, underwater video, and on my last trip — wide angle first person viewpoints with a GoPro Hero 2. Today’s Gear Guide video deals with the Smoothee Steadicam for the GoPro. I take it into the field, and demonstrate how to use it. I also show how to rig it up on a monopod as a handheld jib.

Very helpful. I do not shot a lot of video and it is usually pretty specialized documentation but this will certainly help.
